EASTER

And this is life eternal, that
They might know the only true God,
and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
I have glorified thee on the earth:
I have finished the work which thou
gavest me to do.
And now, O Father, glorify thou me
with thine own self with the glory
which I had with thee before
the world was.
And all mine are thine, and
I am glorified in them.
O righteous Father, the world
hast not known thee: but I have
known thee, and these have
known that thou hast sent me.
And I have declared unto them thy name,
and will declare it: that the love wherewith
thou hast loved me may be in them,
and I in them.  --The Bible, John 17--

Our great Master Christ Jesus who let the Christ within him, that is, the spiritual consciousness of God,
and His goodness and infinite love, speak to the receptive thought!

--Eva-Maria

The divine hand led me into a new world of light and Life, a fresh universe – old to God, but new to his “little one.”

It became evident that the divine Mind alone must answer, and be found as the Life, Principle, of all being; and that one must acquaint himself with God, if he would be at peace.  He must be ours practically, guiding our every thought and action; else we cannot understand the omnipresence of good sufficiently to demonstrate, even in part, the Science of the perfect Mind and divine healing.

I had learned that thought must be spiritualized, in order to apprehend Spirit.  It must become honest, unselfish, and pure, in order to have the least understanding of God in divine Science.

All Science is a revelation.  Its Principle is divine, not human, reaching higher than the stars of heaven.

Mary Baker Eddy, Retrospection and Introspection, p. 27-28—

Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way,
and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

–The Bible, Exodus 23:20--

IF I CAN STOP ONE HEART FROM BREAKING

If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.

-Emily Dickinson--

Nothing occurs at random, but everything for a reason
and by necessity. –Eva-Maria--

to give the reason for the hope that you have.
But do this with gentleness and respect,
keeping a clear conscience.

--1 Peter 3:15–16—

Christ Jesus never spoke of himself, and said "I am God," this concept may came from the Prophet Isaiah (chapter 9), --however, he identified himself so fully with God, which he called his Father, and this fullness of his identification is called the Christ. And that is why we call him Christ Jesus. Christ could be seen as a title (the Messiah), but it was more … it then and now, stands for the living, palpitating presence of Truth and Love in our lives.  And both Truth and Love (also known as Christ), maintain a special purpose -- Christ reconciles man to God and not God to man; God is the Principle or the operative divine power of Christ.  I would think, we could see the logic that God has no need to propitiate Himself?  Truth/Love reaches no higher than itself.  Could the fountain rise higher than its source? Christ, Truth, could reconcile no nature above its own, derived from the eternal Love.  It was therefore Christ’s purpose to reconcile man to God, not God to man.  Love and Truth are not at war with God’s image or likeness (Jesus’ identity).  Man cannot exceed divine Love, and so atone for himself.  Even Christ cannot reconcile Truth to error, for Truth and error are incompatible.  Jesus aided in reconciling man to God by giving man a truer sense of Love, the divine Principle of Jesus’ teachings, and this truer sense of Love redeems man from the law of matter, sin, and even death (as Jesus proved by his resurrection) by the law of Spirit – the law of divine Love.  –Eva-Maria--

(See Science and Health, by M. B. Eddy, p. 18.)

Jesus of Nazareth taught and practiced man’s oneness with the Father (who we call God, and by many other names), and for this we owe Chris Jesus endless reverence.  His work was both individual and collective. He did his life’s work correctly not only in fairness to himself, but in compassion to others ---to show them how to do theirs, to discover their own true self or the Who am I, but not to do it for them nor to relieve them of a single responsibility.  Jesus acted boldly, fearlessly, against all who opposed Truth, especially with his healing power full of Love.  And YES! That love is all-inclusive.

A critical and thorough study of Jesus’ life, teachings, and works, reveal that his loving, honest heart, his deep spiritual wisdom, intuition, and complete reliance on the highest source of Truth, God, could not be touched by bigotry, ignorance, envy, and all the evils mortal man is capable of.

–Eva-Maria—

O Light of light, within us dwell,

Through us Thy radiance pour

That word and deed

Thy truths may tell,

And praise Thee evermore …

I have learned that Mind
reconstructed the body,
and that nothing else could.

How it was done, the spiritual Science of
Mind must reveal.
