To recognize
and understand supply, we have to see how it comes toward us. Too often in a subtle or even not so subtle way, we entertain the wrong notion that we have to work hard to find supply, bring
it about, or struggle to gain it, and so on … but these wise words by Mary
Baker Eddy, made me stop and think: “… under the deific law … supply invariably meets demand …” (Miscellaneous Writings, Question and Answers, p. 45--)
Does this
spiritual truth not say and reassure us that supply is always near, and that is
why we have a need for it? The need for it confirms a divine law that cannot be
ignored, that is, what we need at any given moment is just demanding our attention
and to watch how the supply for it is moving toward us. It brings about the
fulfillment of that deific law!
With our
spiritual moving forward, our horizon constantly is expanding … and we
naturally advance. As someone once said, “More than ever before in
history, wealth is metaphysical rather than material … the world opens its
portals, slough off limits and boundaries … with ever-widening spirals of
possibilities.”

“I will restore to you the
years that the locust hath eaten… .
And ye shall eat in plenty, and be
satisfied, and praise the name
of the Lord your God, that has dealt wondrously
with you:
and my people shall never be ashamed.”
