Leave things with God! ...

photos by Eva-Maria

Q: What are spiritual needs?

A: To express goodness, integrity, moral courage, purity, etc., etc... And when expressed, generate and give continuity to thought, word and action that enriches us, so that they remain & do not disappear....

goodness perpetuates goodness,
integrity integrity,
moral courage moral courage
purity purity....

This is the day which the LORD hath made;
                        we will rejoice and be glad in it.

A woman had been struggling with certain issues. One day as she was sitting in a chair praying and asking God for a sign of help, she heard her cat purring as it lay in the sun on the back of the couch. Although the woman hadn’t petted it or even spoken to it, the cat was completely content in the sunshine … it was so content, it  simply had to expressed itself!

The woman felt this was the answer to her prayer – that God’s love surrounded her as the sunshine surrounded the cat! This inspiration was profound to her, for she knew that she, too, could be content whatever the circumstances!

The order of Christian Science is an important one to the human thought, letting in the light of spiritual understanding. This period corresponds to the resurrection, when Spirit is discerned to be the Life of all, and the deathless Life, or Mind, dependent upon no material organization.

Truth is restful – Love is triumphant.

                You have only your own place to fill –
                so leave things with God!

                      THANK YOU for your input!

A Psalm of David.

Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty,

Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain
