Be not afraid, Love is with you and …

Wide enough

God lighted art is like the

Art of a rainbow—hinting at

The eternal beauty of all good,

All that really is in wonderful grandeur,

All effortlessly unfolds, is

Individual, expansive, reflecting the infinite,

All being

Expressing every thought in full obedience

To the action of the ever-present Christ

The omni-good of constant unbound grace

Cast in colors and light on every shore

A rainbow wide from black to white.

--Vincent Hogrefe—

To understand God strengthens hope, enthrones faith in Truth, and verifies Jesus’ words: “Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”

-–Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 446--

…. he who seizes the rainbow to lay it on
a cloth in the likeness of a man, is more than he who makes the sandals for our feet.

When I find that every heart, every speck of the vast deep blue sky and its sparkling stars, the mountains, the sea, the rushing brook, the nightingale’s song, the flight of the snow geese, every cherry-tree blossom, and the spread of wild-growing bluebells in sunlit forests are all joined together with one thread of inseparability, one thread of Soul, then you and I shall know that all are but the mirrored images of Love, reflecting its own wide, wide beautiful world.
And O how I love it!  --Eva-Maria—

An excerpt from Vincent Hogrefe’s interview with Sue Pomeroy, the founder, director, and producer of Good Company Theatre Productions based in Brighton, England.
Vincent: It illustrates how prayer can overcome obstacles of any kind. That prompts me to ask if spiritual love, as a basis of artistic expression, a force for progress, can help theater contribute to the healing of social, cultural, and racial barriers.
Sue: Yes.  [And] Prayer is a crucial part of preparation for everything I do. As an artist, one consistently has to deny the belief of limitation, because fear of lack keeps popping up all over the place. As we refuse to bow down to the limited human picture and accept completely the unlimited, perfect order of God, we are able to rise above limitation and struggle. ….

Mortals are egotists. They believe themselves to be independent workers, personal authors, and even privileged originators of something which Deity would not or could not create. The creations of mortal mind are material. Immortal spiritual man alone represents
the truth of creation.

…he [Christ Jesus] said unto them, It is I, be not afraid. --The Bible, John 6:20—
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.
Believest thou this?  --The Bible, John 11:25, 16--

Sweet are the uses of adversity;
Which, like the toad, ugly and venomous,
Wears yet a precious jewel in his head,
And this our life, exempt from public hount,
Finds tongues in trees, books in the running brook,
Sermons in stones, and good in everything.
I would not change it.

--As You Like It, Act II Scene I, Shakespeare—

In the solitude of my being my devotion to LOVE is bursting forth … and O how I like it … it is so comforting to listen to Love, and so strengthening to feel it… as well as to embrace therein all those I’m thinking of.  --Eva-Maria

How great Thou art, and how little I am -- when I think of it, it reminds me of a tiny raindrop compared to a wide, wide ocean.
In quality the raindrop is the same as the ocean, and as it merges with the ocean the raindrop becomes part of the ocean, still the same in quality, and thus inseparable from the ocean. And so am I with Thee –

Inseparable from Thee, dear beloved God! ...

Inseparable from GOD, which for me is supreme GOOD: LOVE, TRUTH, LIFE, SOUL, SPIRIT, PRINCIPLE, divine, infinite MIND, and
they refer to one absolute God.
--Eva-Maria--

I live near an ocean where along the coastline you’ll find those lonesome standing lighthouses; it made me think, and here I’m speaking metaphorically: I am as a “lighthouse” for all of those who are tossed and afraid of being shipwrecked on the ocean of life.

Our own struggle with regrets, and even wishes, seem to disappear in the feeling
of empathy.

DAVID WAS A HEBREW KING WHO WAS SKILLED AT PLAYING THE LIAR. HE FOUGHT THE FINKELSTEINS, A RACE OF PEOPLE WHO LIVED IN BIBLICAL TIMES.

--A child’s misspelling, and a gift of a smile for us, LOL—

I like to switch on a light in the thought
of those whose smiles are hidden, to see their smiles and know sadness will be the loser. The highest form of influence is love!  It is that gentle undercurrent in all we say, and in all it says to us.

--Eva-Maria--

I am not the body
Beloved God, I know that I am not the body, not the blood, not the energy, not the thoughts, not the mind [mortal], not the ego, not the astral self.  I am the immortal soul that illumines them all, remaining unchangeable in spite of their changes.
--Paramahansa Yogananda—

If ye know these things,
happy are ye if ye do them.

--The Bible, John 13:17--

Shakespeare, through the voice of Hamlet, says:

Give thy thought no tongue,
Nor unproportion’d thought his act.

If ye abide in me, and my words abide
in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it
shall be done unto you.
--The Bible, John 15:7—

Divine love is the force behind all I do, and
with the deepest attention to this truth – I do all, may it be great or small.

And ye shall know the truth,
and the truth shall make you free.

EASTER

And this is life eternal, that
They might know the only true God,
and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
I have glorified thee on the earth:
I have finished the work which thou
gavest me to do.
And now, O Father, glorify thou me
with thine own self with the glory
which I had with thee before
the world was.
And all mine are thine, and
I am glorified in them.
O righteous Father, the world
hast not known thee: but I have
known thee, and these have
known that thou hast sent me.
And I have declared unto them thy name,
and will declare it: that the love wherewith
thou hast loved me may be in them,
and I in them.  --The Bible, John 17--

Our great Master Christ Jesus who let the Christ within him, that is, the spiritual consciousness of God,
and His goodness and infinite love, speak to the receptive thought!

--Eva-Maria

The divine hand led me into a new world of light and Life, a fresh universe – old to God, but new to his “little one.”

It became evident that the divine Mind alone must answer, and be found as the Life, Principle, of all being; and that one must acquaint himself with God, if he would be at peace.  He must be ours practically, guiding our every thought and action; else we cannot understand the omnipresence of good sufficiently to demonstrate, even in part, the Science of the perfect Mind and divine healing.

I had learned that thought must be spiritualized, in order to apprehend Spirit.  It must become honest, unselfish, and pure, in order to have the least understanding of God in divine Science.

All Science is a revelation.  Its Principle is divine, not human, reaching higher than the stars of heaven.

Mary Baker Eddy, Retrospection and Introspection, p. 27-28—

Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way,
and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

–The Bible, Exodus 23:20--

IF I CAN STOP ONE HEART FROM BREAKING

If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.

-Emily Dickinson--

Nothing occurs at random, but everything for a reason
and by necessity. –Eva-Maria--

to give the reason for the hope that you have.
But do this with gentleness and respect,
keeping a clear conscience.

--1 Peter 3:15–16—

Christ Jesus never spoke of himself, and said "I am God," this concept may came from the Prophet Isaiah (chapter 9), --however, he identified himself so fully with God, which he called his Father, and this fullness of his identification is called the Christ. And that is why we call him Christ Jesus. Christ could be seen as a title (the Messiah), but it was more … it then and now, stands for the living, palpitating presence of Truth and Love in our lives.  And both Truth and Love (also known as Christ), maintain a special purpose -- Christ reconciles man to God and not God to man; God is the Principle or the operative divine power of Christ.  I would think, we could see the logic that God has no need to propitiate Himself?  Truth/Love reaches no higher than itself.  Could the fountain rise higher than its source? Christ, Truth, could reconcile no nature above its own, derived from the eternal Love.  It was therefore Christ’s purpose to reconcile man to God, not God to man.  Love and Truth are not at war with God’s image or likeness (Jesus’ identity).  Man cannot exceed divine Love, and so atone for himself.  Even Christ cannot reconcile Truth to error, for Truth and error are incompatible.  Jesus aided in reconciling man to God by giving man a truer sense of Love, the divine Principle of Jesus’ teachings, and this truer sense of Love redeems man from the law of matter, sin, and even death (as Jesus proved by his resurrection) by the law of Spirit – the law of divine Love.  –Eva-Maria--

(See Science and Health, by M. B. Eddy, p. 18.)

Jesus of Nazareth taught and practiced man’s oneness with the Father (who we call God, and by many other names), and for this we owe Chris Jesus endless reverence.  His work was both individual and collective. He did his life’s work correctly not only in fairness to himself, but in compassion to others ---to show them how to do theirs, to discover their own true self or the Who am I, but not to do it for them nor to relieve them of a single responsibility.  Jesus acted boldly, fearlessly, against all who opposed Truth, especially with his healing power full of Love.  And YES! That love is all-inclusive.

A critical and thorough study of Jesus’ life, teachings, and works, reveal that his loving, honest heart, his deep spiritual wisdom, intuition, and complete reliance on the highest source of Truth, God, could not be touched by bigotry, ignorance, envy, and all the evils mortal man is capable of.

–Eva-Maria—

O Light of light, within us dwell,

Through us Thy radiance pour

That word and deed

Thy truths may tell,

And praise Thee evermore …

I have learned that Mind
reconstructed the body,
and that nothing else could.

How it was done, the spiritual Science of
Mind must reveal.
