STRENGTH!

Eva-Maria

YOUR STRENGTH!
WHERE do you find it?

The fallacy is to believe that weakness could produce strength.
For example, a weak mind is not strong enough to deal with contradictions, or to be at peace in the storm of multiple opinions, or deal effectively with fear, or a fear of sin and death.  Stand up to these notions of weakness and you’ll discover that the Mind that is good is also strong.
Nothing is so strong as fearlessness -- nothing is so strong as gentleness!

A notion of weakness of body is not strong enough to deal with normal bodily functions. A person who feels dis-eased is burdened by the weight of its weakness. Illness is a weakness and not strength.
You need a spiritual sense of what true health consists of: And it is HARMONY! Harmonious coexistence of thought, feeling, and deed, held in the awareness of God, the God that is with you, Good is with you and, its benevolent influence over you!  Helping you to let go of resentments, and to forgive wherever forgiveness is needed.  And to move on!

To think that the strength of humanity lies in both good and evil, is a weakness – a foolish weakness of the mortal concept of things. Good and evil are in constant conflict. Conflict is not strength.  If we are manipulated by the contradictions of a lie that one reality can destroy another reality, and we believe it, we have nothing we can rely on.
Infinity and finiteness are not the same.
Good is infinite and strength! Evil is finite and weakness.  Simply said, …. evil’s finite “nature” is self-destructive. All that which by its falsity perpetuates, is self-destroying, and cannot be called, or relied on as, a power!  Both cannot be real and mutually experienced as reliable strength.
Good is real, and its goodness is strength!  Good and its power intercept all the whisperings of the false senses.

Spirituality and physicality are on two different levels of thought. The power of spirituality’s elevation is selflessness, peace, harmony, insights, love, and so on.  And these empower you to live in harmony with Self, your neighbor, and nature.  And thus you have an immeasurable strength to draw from!
Physicality delivers uncertainties of strength.  It forever is swinging back and forth between different opinions of matter-notions of what constitutes strength.  It is the yielding to exclusively material means and methods, and never sure what is right but forever stubbornly insisting what it believes is ethical.
That is not where true strength is found.

Love is a “Power house!”
Hatred is a pit.
And these are obviously not the same. Hatred cannot supply the healing strength you need.  Hate is the “master” of dislike, injustice, unjust criticism, oppression, diminishment when accepted, and thus cannot strengthen you -- instead it depletes.
However, Love comforts, supports, acknowledges who you are, and guides you safely through the jungle-fever of worldliness.  The influence of Truth, makes your love unconditional. The deeper the cleansing waters of love the safer you navigate through life and its activities and, especially, through the sometimes turbulent waters of relationships. As you gather your moral courage, you’ll have strength and even a good sense of humor.

They go from strength to strength, every one of them [who]…
appears before God.

For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory:
no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

--Psalm 84:7, 10

For I know the thoughts that I think of you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

--Scriptures, Jeremiah 29:11

Unselfish ambitions, noble life-motives, and purity, -- these constituents of thought, mingling, constitute individuality and collectively true happiness, strength, and permanence.

--Mary Baker Eddy
Science and Health, p. 58

Who lives in good, lives in God,-- lives in all Life, through all space.
His is an individual kingdom,
his diadem a crown of crowns.

Wait patiently on illimitable Love, the lord and giver of Life.  Reflect this Life, and with it cometh
the full power of being.
–Mary Baker Eddy

Warmly,
Eva-Maria

I like this. Harmonious peaceful coexistence is really required.Let's all work together for that.

  2. if we could . . . when we would . . . we should have LOVE, PEACE and LIFE between each other and all nations. Every step in that direction would be blessed.

Thank you for your peace-generating comment, Rajinder.

  3. An excellent article. A true picture of strength. I loved it. Thought gives strength to all our actions and all thoughts of love, peace and humanity have their own inbuilt strength also. They being virtues of soul, the God's child.
